Here at Gloucester Business Improvement District (BID), we are passionate about raising the profile of Gloucester and making it a safe and enjoyable place to visit. We do this through:
– Funding, in partnership, the City Protection Officers
– Supporting Gloucester Goes Retro, Gloucester Tall Ships, Bright Nights and Lantern Procession
– Running Independents Week, Shop Local Support Local, Shop Kind and many more campaigns throughout the year
– Introduced the Gloucester Gift Card and Mi Rewards programmes to support local businesses and help the local economy thrive
– Trails during holidays to increase footfall in the city centre
– Fund the summer planters and maintain the existing ones
– We’ve brought back the Believe in Gloucester Awards this year too!
We also work with many local businesses and organisations on the behalf of our members to ensure our city is safe to visit and a pleasure to visit during the day and night.
