Cheltenham Racecourse
Cheltenham Racecourse, often referred to as the Home of Jump Racing, is operated by The Jockey Club. The Jockey Club, founded in 1750 is dedicated to the promotion and development of British horse racing, reinvesting profits back into the sport. Cheltenham Racecourse hosts 16 race meetings a season (October-May), the most famous being the four-day, Cheltenham Festival, which attracts around 250,000 people in March. The racecourse also stages non-race day events and community occasions throughout the year. It is regarded as one of the world’s best horse racing venues.
