Helen Naylor

Helen is a professionally trained artist/illustrator, working under the name Pocket Wren. With a background of illustrating within the children’s book market, Pocket Wren is her excuse to produce things that are a little more grown up…although not too much!

She also has a passion for teaching and runs regular craft/art workshops both for adults and children. She’s in her element in a classroom covered in paint and sticky handprints and loves sharing her skills and crafts with others.

A love of the great outdoors influences her work significantly, with the nature and wildlife of the British landscape being her favourite subjects. If she’s not in her studio you’ll most likely find her up a mountain, on a beach or lost in the wilderness somewhere!

Helen really enjoys working on charitable projects like this one and has taken part in several public art trails over the past few years.
