Ontic Engineering & Manufacturing Ltd will be part of next year’s mane event, Lions at Large, helping to make a real difference in their local community.
With two facilities in Gloucestershire – Ontic is the world’s fastest growing aerospace company. For over 50 years they have provided complex engineered parts and repair services to the world’s aviation leaders. Their team of experts work across a wide variety of critical technologies that support most of the world’s in-service aircraft.
Emma Jenkins, Site Director for Ontic’s Gloucester facility, said:
“We are so excited to be part of Lions at Large! It is a great opportunity to give back to our community, and most importantly support and fundraise for Cheltenham and Gloucester Hospitals Charity who have organised this trail in aid of new cancer facilities to help people in Gloucestershire. We’re looking forward to getting involved in lots of different ways and I, for one, am looking forward to walking the trail and seeing all the lions on display.”
Carrie Smith, Project Manager at Cheltenham and Gloucester Hospitals Charity, said:
“We are absolutely thrilled to welcome Ontic into the pride as a sponsor for the trail! Not only do they deliver excellence in their field, but they also have a genuine commitment to making a positive impact in their local community. Their passion for supporting both the areas where they operate and their dedicated staff, truly shines through. We can’t wait to partner with them and make this trail a roaring success!”
The lions in Cheltenham and Gloucester will be ‘The Pride of Gloucestershire’, as will the new cancer facilities funded by The Big Space Cancer Appeal. Once the Lions have left, their part in funding a centre of excellence for cancer in Gloucestershire will remain as a lasting legacy.
