Stagecoach goes the extra mile for local cancer care!
We are incredibly excited to announce Stagecoach West has joined the pride as the latest sponsor of Lions at Large!
Stagecoach West provides essential bus services in Gloucestershire and beyond. Since 1980, they have been connecting communities with express and local routes for around 25 million passengers every year. Their services are a daily lifeline for their customers, who are at the heart of all they do, forging connections between people and places.
Chris Hanson, Managing Director of Stagecoach West, said:
“Stagecoach West is excited to participate as a sponsor for the ‘Lions at Large’ sculpture trail – such a wonderful initiative showcasing the artistic talents within our community and raising essential funds for The Big Space Cancer Appeal. It really is an honour to support the Cheltenham and Gloucester Hospitals Charity in their mission to enhance local cancer care facilities. We look forward to seeing our very own lion join the pride and exploring opportunities to engage with this special project and the incredible team behind it.”
Carrie Smith, Project Manager at Cheltenham and Gloucester Hospitals Charity, said: “We are so excited to have Stagecoach West as a sponsor. Their support will help us bring this exciting project to life – making art more accessible and creating something truly special for everyone to enjoy. It will also help raise vital funds for our Big Space Cancer Appeal to transform cancer care for the Gloucestershire community.”
Lions at Large will see streets, parks and open spaces dazzle with vibrant colours and surprising designs of our lion sculptures. The trail will help bring together the community to explore and feel pride in their local area.
